【Abstract】 A microanatomical study on defining the relationship between the surface landmarks and internal structures of the petros part of temporal bone in 40 specimens was conducted. The result showed that the location of the internal structures could be reliably defined by the surface landmarks. We reidenti-fied two triangular shape landmarks in the cranial middle fossa, which served as a guide to define the petrosal internal carotid artery and cochlea more easily and accurately. The distances among the stuc-tures were measured and the anatomic landmarks for the internal structures were discussed.更多还原
