【Abstract】 A new method has been developed for the determination of trace manganese based on that manganese catalyzes the oxidation of bromocresol green by potassium periodate. The detection limit for Mn (Ⅱ) is 5. 78 × 10-10g/ml,and the linear range of the determination is 0~0. 3 g/15 ml.
