【Abstract】 The aesthetic feeling of a building ought to be created jointly by the architect and the structure engineer. In creating the beauty of a building, the structure engineer is not only dutybound, but also can make a very important contribution that cannot be substituted by others, this fact is more true when the building is taller or the span of structure is longer. Structure design has its own aesthetic rules, this paper probes preliminarily the trace of development of structure aesthetics and discusses several aesthetic principles of structure design.更多还原
