东海颗粒有机碳的研究
STUDY ON PARTICULATE ORGANIC CARBON IN THE EAST CHINA SEA
【摘要】 于1994年春季(4月)和秋季(10-11月)对东海颗粒有机碳(POC)、颗粒氮、ATP(三磷酸腺苷)进行测定,通过ATP定量区分POC中的生命与非生命部分。结果表明,春秋两季POC的平均值为417μg/L,其中春季为280μg/L,生命部分占10%;秋季为541μg/L,生命部分占4%。春秀表层POC以东海陆架中部为高值区向周围递减,与ATP的分布相似,而且颗粒有机物中的C:N比值较低(7.63),说明春季POC主要受生物活动影响;秋季表层POC以长江口为高值区向外海递减,与ATP差别很大,而且颗粒有机物中的C:N比值较高(15.23),说明秋季生物活动已不是POC的主要影响因素。秋季POC可能主要来自长江径流和沉积物的再悬浮。
【Abstract】 In spring (April) and autumn (October-November), 1994, two cruises of the Chinese JGOFS were conducted in the East China Sea (ECS) on board the R /V "Science 1" and "Dongfanghong", respectively. During the investigation period, paniculate organic carbon (POC)and nitrogen were measured using the dry combustion method and living POC was estimated based on the assumption of "living POC=25O x ATh". The main results are as follows. Mean POC value in the ECS was 417ng /L, 28Ong /L in Spring and 54lPg /L in autunm, respectively. POC in the ECS was about one order of magnitude greater than those in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Living POC accounted for about 10% of the total POC in spring and 4% in autumn. The for values of POC occurred in the shelf in Spring, bu moved to the Chanaiiang be mouth in autunm. In spring, the distribution of POC in surface waters coincided with that of ATP and the ratio of carbon to nitrogen in paniculate organic matter (POM) was relatively low (C:N= 7.63),suggesting that POC was mainly from the biological production in the local water columns. In autumn, however, POC in surfare which, which decreaced seaward from the Changjiang Rorer mouth, had little in common with the distribution of ATP, and ON value in POM was very high (C:N=15.23) in this season. Ths indicated that most of the POC was not provided by biological production in autumn However, the storm-caused resuspension of sediments in the inner shelf arm and the relatively large Changjiang River runoff during autumn were probably the main sources of POC in the ECS.
