【Abstract】 It is known that comprehensive quality criterions of worm transmission are loadbearing ability and transmission efficiency. Through the test of the efficiencies of round-plate feeder driven by TVP worm transmission and round-plate feeder driven by ordinary cylindrical worm, the defferences between them are compared’ By the analysis of the contact lines and the angles formed by the contact lines and sliding velocities when worm and gear are engaged, it is found tbat the round -plate feeeder driven by TVP worm transmission is advantageous over that driven by ordinary cylindrical worm transmission in efficiency.更多还原
