【摘要】 介绍天柱山风景名胜区的地理位置和地质构造背景，阐明其构造位置、区域地层、构造及组成天柱山主体的燕山期花岗岩地质概况。并对天柱山风景名胜区的历史，雄、奇、灵、秀的自然景观，文化内涵丰厚的人文景观等作较系统介绍。指出天柱山贵在至今仍保持着良好生态环境，今后持续开发建设，必须立足保护资源、保护生态环境、保护珍贵文化遗产，切忌急功近利，本末倒置。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper intruduces the geographical position and geological background of the touristattraction of the Tianzhu Mountain in southwest Anhui Province, and expounds its tectonicsetting, regional strata and geological outllne of Yenshanian granite forming the major part ofthe Tianzhu Mountain. Moreover, the history of the region, the marvelous and beautiful natu-ral landscape, the varied cultura1 connotation and humanistic scenery are a1so systimatically de-scribed.
