【Abstract】 In this paper, cutting experimental study is made on the new designed circle insert with orghogonal rake in arc edge. The cutting force of arc edge is analysed, and accord- ing to the result of right angle free cutting experiment, the theoretical calculating and experi- mental result arer compared and analysed, thus the calculting method of cutting force of ac edge cutting is obtained.
