【Abstract】 Basic, clinical and biotechnological researchers have been seeking methods to fully or partially reconstitute human functional tissues such as skin, bone marrow, nerve and liver ex vivo . The development of animal cell and tissue culture technology in vitro made the above effort possible. This growing area of research was termed as tissue engineering, and is becoming a prominent area in biotechnology.
