【Abstract】 This paper presents the significance, constitution characteristics of image quality indicators and the matters of attention for its use in thermal neutron radiographs, describes how to determine image quality level by visual inspection, measurement of film densities using a scanning micro densitometer and parameter calculation, illustrates its use on reactor in the Institute of Nuclear Energy Technology of Tsinghua University.
