【Abstract】 PP333 can efficiently inhibit new shoot and root growth of young Dongkui arbutus trees by soil application in autumn or foliar spray in spring. It’s found that soil application works better than foliar sprayThe application of 500ppm ×2 in spring or summer distinctly promotes the flower bud initiation and improvcsthe peniclc quality,especially for the trees with less flowers at their sixth or seventh year. However.foliar sprayaround thc blossom results in the reduction of the Carbohydrate contcnt in leavcs and its relative incrcasc inroots.
