双光束磁光存贮中信号读出的偏振态分析
Temperature Measurement with Excitation Spectra of Trivalent Rare Earth Europium Ion
【摘要】 利用琼斯矩阵分析了双光束磁光存贮中信号读出系统偏振态的传输情况,推导了读出信号的表达式,分析了偏振分束镜与光盘盘基的相位延迟对读出信号的影响。
【Abstract】 The possibility of temperature measurement with excitation spectra is studied theoretically and demonstrated experimentally. By choosing EuCl 3·6H 2O powder as sample and choosing 7F 1 → 5D 0 magnetic dipole transition of trivalent rare earth europium ion, temperature of the sample is determined with excitation spectra. Measured errors less than 0.6% for temperature below 290 K. The suitable temperature range that can be measured with this experiment setup and sample is from 40 K to 330 K. Further work on improving measurement accuracy and on extending temperature range is suggested.
