【Abstract】 Two sets of 4× 2.5Gbit/s , 154km nonregenerated optical fiber WDM systems designed for engineering have first been built in China. The stable wavelength controller and wavelength transponder are employed in the system. Therefore , any kind of optical terminals of 2. 5Gbit/s can be connected to the systems. The systems have been tested by a group supported by Guang- dong Post . Telecommunication Management Bureau and the sysults show that there is no BER during the 24-hour operation.
