【Abstract】 Abstract :It is well known that the fluorescent decay times of the luminescence in room temperature for complexes of organic compounds including metal-complexes are me level.But a long decay times of organic ligand in complexes of the rare earth(RE) with organic compounds were indicated.The formula of the complexes are RE4L3 (RE=Y,La,or(Y,Eu),and the L=pyromelitic acid),and the decay times of the green smissions are about 12 ms and 0.7ms at room temperature for Y-and Gd-cmplexes,respectively.The long afterglow the were observed by eye when the excitation was stoped.The fluorescence with long decay time probably caused from a thrermal activated process which is duo to transition from T1 to S1,and were called as decayed fluorescence.
