地震中室内浮放设备的浑沌响应
CHAOTIC RESPONSE OF FREESTANDING INDOOR EQUIPMENT UNDER EARTHQUAKE
【摘要】 在地震中,象计算机一类的浮放设备可能发生滑动、摇晃或倾覆而造成损失。本文将浮放设备简化为刚性块体,并把放置设备的基础视为刚性的,研究了在谐振基础上块体的摇晃、倾覆响应,发现在摇晃运动中,存在周期、准周期和浑沌三种类型,揭示了系统对初始条件变化十分敏感的内在本质
【Abstract】 The freestanding equipment could be damaged because of their sliding, rocking and toppling during a seismic event. In this paper, the freestanding equipment is modeled as a rigid body, and the base on which the equipment is placed is regarded to be rigid. The response of the rigid body on a harmonically motivated base is studied, and it is discovered that in the overturning movement there exist three types of response, the periodic, quasiperiodic and chaotic. The reason the response of this system is sensitive to initial condition is uncovered.
