【Abstract】 The feature of modern P/M developments is described. As the key technical science fora series of relative industries, the role of P/M in aerospace, aerial and auto industries, in ma-chinery, in electronic and neclear engineering etc. is reviewed; as the front of modern materialscience developments, the key role of P/M in developing high-tech new materials is anal-ysed.
