【Abstract】 The possibility of producing light refractory bricks of mullite by using coal gangues as rawmaterials has been studied. The experiments showed that by adding a certain amount of industri-al A1203 powder to the burned coal gangues, and milling the mixture to a size with oversize of8OO mesh sieve less than 5 % and after forming and sintering a high quality light refractory brickof mullite can be prepared. During forming some easily burned organic materials should be addedto the mud. After a sintering at l55O C for 5 hours,the brick preduced can reach the standard ofGerman JM28.更多还原
