【Abstract】 Predation of adhesive eggs of common carp ( Cyprinus carpio L. ) and Pseudorashora parva by three freshwater prawns ( Macro brachium nipponensis, Palaemon modestus and Palaemon sinensis ) was observed in a laboratory. The results show that the harmfulness of Macrobrachium nipponensis to the fish eggs is the most, followed by Palaemon sinensis and P. modestus . Daily feeding rhythm of the prawns was studied under laboratory conditions. The predation of fish eggs by prawns makes confinement of natural fish populations, especially for the fishes with long incubation period such as Protosalanx hyalocranius .更多还原
