【Abstract】 This paper compares and analyzes, from the points of view of practice on board to ensure the safety of vessels, main meteorological characteristics of cold high from Siberia and the subtropical high of north west Pacific Ocean and their affects to weather and climate of China’s territorial waters and the adjacent sea areas.
