PTFE粘结的PEMFC氧电极性能研究
Study on the Performance of PTFE-bonded Oxygen Electrode in PEMFC
【摘要】 本文研究了PEMFC中氧电极催化剂层内PTFE含量和铂载量对电池性能的影响,并运用TEM和XRD分析了运行一段时间后电池性能衰减的原因。试验发现:1)PTFE含量为30w%时电池性能较好;2)铂载量增加,电池性能改善,但催化剂层过厚会引起传质问题。电池运行后性能略有衰减可能由两个因素引起:1)铂晶粒变大2)氧电极催化剂层防水特性发生变化。
【Abstract】 The effects of PTFE content and Pt loading in the catalyst layer of oxygen electrode on the performance of PEMFC were studied. With the aid of TEM and XRD,the reason for the degradation of cell performance after a period of continuous operation was analyzed. It was found that: 1)the catalyst layer with 30% PTFE showed the best performance;2)the performance of fuel cell was improved with the increase of Pt loading but mass transport limitation was encountered when using the thicker catalyst layer. As for the cause of degradation in performance after continuous operation two factors were likely to play their roles:1)the increasing of Pt particle size after operation;2)the change in the water-proof characteistics which resulted in the electrode flooding.
