机械合金化Mg-Ni基非晶态贮氢合金的电化学特性
Electrochemical Behaviour of Some Mechanically Alloyed Mg-Ni-based Amorphous Hydrogen Storage Alloys
【摘要】 详细研究了通过机械合金化(MA)方法制备的Mg50Ni50-x-yMxNy(M,N=Al,Co和Si)系列非晶态贮氢合金的电化学特性。结果表明,该系列MA非晶合金的电化学活化容易,电化学容量高,其中Mg50Ni50合金的最大容量达500mA·h/g,约为晶态合金的10倍;但是它们的化学稳定性较差,容量的循环衰减速率达(10~60)mA·h/g·cycle。通过XRD分析,证实Mg-Ni基合金的性能衰退是由于其中的Mg在碱性溶液中被氧化所引起。
【Abstract】 The electrochemical behaviours of some amorphous Mg 50 Ni 50- x-y M x N y ( M , N =Co, Al and Si) hydrogen storage alloys prepared by mechanical alloying (MA) have been investigated The results show that electrochemical activation is easy and the electrochemical capacity is high for the MA amorphous alloys The MA Mg 50 Ni 50 alloy has a maximum discharging capacity around 500 mA·h/g, which is ten times higher than that of the crystalline alloy However, the chemical stabilities of the amorphous Mg 50 Ni 50- x-y M x N y alloys are rather poor, and their capacities degrade at the rate of (10~60) mA·h/g per cycle XRD results reveal that high rate of capacity degradation of the amorphous Mg-Ni-based alloys is due to oxidation of the magnesium in basic solution
