常压烧结ZTM/Al2O3复合陶瓷的力学性能
Mechanical Properties of ZTM/Al 2O 3 Composites by Pressureless Sintering
【摘要】 采用干法成型、常压烧结工艺制得致密的ZTM/Al2O3复合陶瓷材料。通过引入大颗粒的氧化铝,使ZTM陶瓷(氧化锆增韧莫来石陶瓷)的力学性能有明显提高。组成20Vol%Al2O3-20Vol.%ZrO2-mulite陶瓷材料,其断裂韧性为6.06MPa.m1/2,抗弯强度为403MPa。实验结果表明:Al2O3的弥散强化和ZrO2的相变增韧及微裂纹增韧是ZTM/Al2O3陶瓷的主要增韧机理。
【Abstract】 Densed ZTM/Al 2O 3 ceramic composites were prepared by dry shaping and pressurelless sintering. With the addition of Al 2O 3 particles, the mechanical properties of ZTM ceramics (ZrO 2-toughened mullite ceramics) are significantly improved. The flexural strength and fracture toughness of the mullite based composites containing 20Vol.%Al 2O 3 and 20Vol.%ZrO 2 are as fellows:б bb =403MPa, K 1c =6.06MPa.m 1/2 . The main reinforcing mechanisms for ZTM/Al 2O 3 composites were effects of dispersion-strengthening of Al 2O 3 particles, transformation and microcrack toughenign of ZrO 2.
