【Abstract】 In recent years the counter-rotating propeller is proved to have obvious success in energy saving, vibration reduction and reduction of propeller cavitation, and thus has won wide attraction. The paper provides a detailed discussion on the theory of this new propulsion system, on the optimum design and calculation program, its construction, per formance. model testing and practical use.
