【Abstract】 The value-orientation of law is based on the specific origin of culture.Although the law is different from culture, they are identified in terms of their functions. one of the basic differences in the value-orientation between Chinese and wesmner laws is due to their different cultural background. For the Chinese society which is undergoing social transition, the fundmental approach of establishing the pattern of rule by law shouid be based on its native land and be concerned with its cultural backgroundso as to meet the needs of the people’s life as the value-orientation of law.更多还原
