【Abstract】 This paper reported the use of phage displayed 6-mer peptide library to define the epitopes on the interferon alpha 1b recognised by the neutralizing monoclonal antibody 4Cl.Using competitive elution method we have screened two peptides(WLDPRH and SFYRIS)binding to 4Cl,which are confirmed by ELISA,Dot blotting and Western blotting.In addtion,the two peptides can strongly suppress the biinding of 4C1 to interferon alpha lb at a concentration of 25μg and 42μg respectively.Computer analysis reveals that the two peptides have obvious resemblancw of the regions on IFN alpha 1b which are supposed to be receptor binding sites.These results suggest that the two peptides are likely to be the structural or function al mimicks of IFN alpha 1b receptor binding sites.更多还原
