【Abstract】 The main aim is to obtain high nondefective percentage of cast slab and billet.Technicians for continuous casting technology always regard quality of continuous cast slaband billet as a developing direction of the continuous casting technology.Main defects in continuous cast slab and billet appear as crack,segregation,non-metalicinclusion as well as bulging deformation.
