【Abstract】 Shanzhizi （Gardenia jasminoides ellis） given by stomach perfusion to mice daily for 5 days obviously decreased the total bilirubin in serum and elevated serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase induced by CCl₄ and thioacetamide （TAA）. Shanzhizi given by stomach perfusion to rats daily for 3 days accelerated plasma clearance of infused unconjugated biliru- bin,while Shuizhizi（Gardenia jasminoides ellis var.grandiflora） did not produce the above effects when it was given to mice and rats in the same way.更多还原
