【Abstract】 In this paper,the chromosome number,karyotype,volume of the Euphorbia lathyris L-were first reported. The normal diploid is 2n=20,the karyotype formula is k(2n) = 2X = 20 = 16m+ 4sm,belonging to "2A" type. The total length of chromosome is 32- 49μm,the total length of long arms is 18- 89μm,the AS.
