【Abstract】 This paper elucidates the separation of a new species from Ostericum sieboldii (Umbelliferae) in China, i. e. Ostericum huadongensis Z. H. Pan et X. H. Li, based on the results of synthetic comparative taxonomic studies. The distinctive characters of the new species are described as follows: the shape of petioles triquetrous, the arrangment of vascular bundles in the transections of the petioles takes the form of "Y";the ultimate segments of leaves ovate to rhombic-ovate; inflorescences relatively less branched; vittae usually 1 in the vallecula, 2 in the commissure; in addition, O.huadongensis is mainly distributed in East China.更多还原
