【Abstract】 A new method for data compression is presented. The method is based on the use of a dictionary that is called characteristic code dictionary. It divides memory into groups and uses viariable_length codes. The relsult shows that the method can reduce redundancy in data files efficiently and attain high compression ratio.更多还原
