【Abstract】 A cloned refractile body antigen p28 gene of Eimeria tenella (Guangdong Strain) sporozoites was compared with another one from Merck strain LS18 and a DNA fragment named GX3262. Sequence analysis revealed that the cloned p28 gene had a high homology with Merck strain LS18’s and showed 99.9% and 100% homology at nucleotide and amino acid level respectively.
