【Abstract】 This paper discusses the purposes and significances of exploiting natural resources in Northwest China and emphatically analyses the exploitation state and exonomic development situation of four kinds of natural resources which have national significance. It puts forward the strategic objectives, strategic focal points and strategic countmeasures of exploiting the natural resources in this region.
