细胞内p53蛋白积聚:人脑星形细胞瘤恶性进展的因素之一

【摘要】 用单克隆抗体Pabl 801行免疫组化研究48例不同恶性程度的人脑星形细胞瘤,发现17例(35.4%)p53蛋白染色阳性,其中核阳性者12例,胞浆阳性者5例。30例高恶度的星形细胞瘤中有14例(47%)阳性,其余18例低恶度的肿瘤有3例(17%)阳性,二者具有显著性差异。高恶度的肿瘤中p53染色阳性细胞百分比亦高于低恶度的肿瘤。该结果提示细胞内p53蛋白积聚是人脑星形细胞瘤由低恶度进展到高恶度的一个重要因素。

【Abstract】 By using immunohistochemistry with monoclonal antibody Pab1801, 48 human astrocytomas with varied degree of malignancy were examined. p53 protein staining was positive in 17 cases (35. 4%),including 12 nuclear positive and 5 cytoplasmic positive. Of the 30 cases of higher grade malignant astrocytoma, 14(47%)were positive, while the other 18 cases of lower grade malignant astrocytoma 3 (17%) were positive. The difference was significant. The fraction of p53 positive cells was higher in highly malignant astrocytomas than that in less malignant astrocytomas. This study suggests that intra-cellular p53 content indicates progressiveness of an astrocytoma.
