【Abstract】 The guinea pig is most frequently used in study of auditory function. There is an oval opening on the tympanic bulla of the skull, called the foramen of inferior tympanic meatus, by which electrode can reach tympanic promontory and record the electrocochleogram well. The method is very handy and dependable, needn’t open the mastoid process, and is a new way of recording electrocochleogram from the tympanic promontory. It may have widespread application in research of auditory function and teaching of physiological experiments.更多还原
