【Abstract】 A new sheet metal forming technology is introduced in this paper,the feature is that the forming is caused by thermal stress induced by irradiation of laser beam scanning. The laser forming mechanism is studied according to the type of temperature field. The key problems such as the geometrical parameters of the sheet,the thermal physical properties of material and laser beam power et al. are also dissussed. In the end of the paper, some difficulties and perspectives of laser forming technology are outlined.更多还原
