温度对液体闪烁体效率的影响

【摘要】 用双管液体闪烁符合计数法测定了温度对6种常用液体闪烁体效率的影响。在2℃时,实验观测到一些闪烁液的3H符合计数效率比室温时下降2.9%-5.9%,另一些则增加7.5%,最高可增加60%以上。EMI9635QB型光电倍增管的热噪声计数率下降到室温时的1/4-1/3。

【Abstract】 The effect of temperature on 3H counting efficiency of six kinds of liquid scintillators are measured using coincidence counting method of two photomultiplier liquid scintillation counter.The experimental results show that the 3H coincidence counting efficiency of some liquid scintillators at 2 ℃ decreases by 2. 9%-5. 9% as compared with the efficiency at room temperature,some of them increases by 7.5%, and even over 60 %. Thermal noise counting rate of the EMI 9635 QB type photomeltipliers reduces to 1/4-1/3 of the rate at room temperature.
