外差干涉型光纤应变传感技术的研究
Study on optical fiber strain sensors using heterodyne interference
【摘要】 研究了一种采用高双折射纤模间干涉的应变传感器。传感器利用注入结电流直接调频的半导体激光(LD)产生外差干涉,从而实现了干涉相位的线性检测。实验结果显示干涉相位的分辨力为一个干涉条纹的2.5%,其相应的光纤应变是36×10-6m。
【Abstract】 Optical fiber strain sensors are studied that utilize the mode-mode interference in high-birefringent optical fibers. A heterodyne interference is caused by a frequency modulation of a laser diode (LD) with a ramp injection current, and a linear phase detection is realized. Experimental results show a resolution of about 2.5% one fringe, which corresponds to a 3.6 × 10-6 m optical fiber elongation.
