【Abstract】 Distribution of virogene of type C hepatitis on tibetan people of Tibet was prelimi narily studied in this article. The results show that: in 69 cases of RNA (+)serum gene of the tibetans, type Ⅱ ranks first (33/69, 47./8%), then Ⅱ / Ⅲ mixed type (20/69, 29.1 % ),the other type and mixed type make up relatively small per cent, but also find the exis tence of type I and fairly more of mixed type.
