【Abstract】 Abstract Both Jewish nation and Israeli state are in the international community unique cases worthy of study. Zionism is the base. upon which Israel has built up its country;its emergence and development have been influenced by religious belief, cultural tradition,ethnic dispositions and other internal factors, but they have also been stimulated by external factors such as the national oppression endured in the course of diaspora,the current developmental trend of the world and the power politics.All these have exerted profound influences on the national politics of Israel.Despite of the great positive role they once played,these influences have increasingly displayed a negative role,causing a Gordian knot in Israeli politics.With respect to the key elements of a nation-sovereignty,territory and population-Zionism has its unique connotation.It is such connotation that determines to a great extent the content of Israeli politics.Through understanding Zionism, it can help us understand Israel’s political doings.更多还原
