【Abstract】 It is discussed in this paper the solutions to the problems caused by the feature ofwrite-once when the WORM optical disk is used to form a file storage system. The designof a WORM file storage system for archiving and back- up is given. It is explained in detailthat the structures of the system, volume and file, and that the interfaces to user and amongthe internal levels.
