【Abstract】 The mechanism of visual scanning in coincidence code set of Chinese characters inputting was discussed.The experiment was focused on the features of visual scanning of human subjects on searching target character from various character sets formed by the Chinese characters with same code.The same code is a phenomenon of coding Chinese Characters.It could be presented either as phonetic same code or as morphologic same code.It was found that reaction time was sensible to both code type and set size.Visual searching on phonetic same code characters was significantly faster than searching morphologic same code characters.It was also found that characters located at the third position were searched fastest when the search size was larger than three.This implicated that the most used character in the same code set should be arranged at the positon 3 other than postion 1,although the latter arrangement was generally applied.更多还原
