Four species of unreported garlic injurious mite were collected and identified from Central Shaanxi in a garlic pest survey from 1993 to 1995,including a new species Rhizoglyphus allii Bu et Wang and three unreported mites injurious to garlic in China,which were Caloglyphus berlesel (Michael), Penthaleus major (Duges) and P.minor (Canestrini).The morphological characteristics and the injurious features were described in the paper.
