【Abstract】 Brass samples with 32%~ 36% Zinc were treated in aqueous solution of Na2S2O3-Pb(AC)2. Different colour films on brass surface were formed in different conditions. The appropriate colouring conditions were determined by adjusting concentration ratios of Na2S2O3 and Pb(AC)2, temperatures, PH Values and treated time. Constitutions of the colouring films were measured by X-ray Diffraction showing that the major constitution is PbS. The kinetics of colouring processes are also studied preliminary. So that a new method of brass colouring is provided.更多还原
