晶须的取向对Al2O3/TiB2/SiCw陶瓷复合材料高温耐磨性能的影响

【摘要】 研究了晶须的取向对Al2O3/TiB2/SiCw陶瓷复合材料在高温下空气和氮气气氛中与硬质合金摩擦副往复滑动摩擦时的耐磨性能的影响。结果表明:该材料表面的耐磨性能随θ角(该表面与热压方向的夹角)的不同而变化,随θ角的增大;材料表面的耐磨性能提高。在高温空气气氛中摩擦时,由于SiC晶须的氧化使得材料表面晶须的增韧补强作用削弱,加速了材料的磨损。通入氮气有利于减轻SiC晶须的氧化.可提高材料的耐磨性能。

【Abstract】 Effect of whisker orientation on the wear resistance of Al2O3/TiB2/SiCw ceramic composite against cemented carbide(YG8)both in air or in N2 atmosphere at temperatures ranging from 200℃ to 800℃ has been studied. The wear rate were examined. Results showed that substantial improvement in wear resistance can be obtained when sliding in N2 atmosphere at high temperature. The mechanism responsible for the improvement was determined to be the prevention of oxidation of SiC whiskers. The wear resistance of this composite decreased with decreasing θ when sliding in air atmosphere at high temperature, this was found to be caused by the oxidation of SiC whiskers and whisker pullout.
