【Abstract】 World’s base lube demand experienced a recession and recovery during 1991～1995, and the prospect for base lube supply expects increasing tightness through the year 2000. There are significant differences among the regions with respect to demand/supply balance, and Asian-Pacific areas will continue to be a net importer of base lube. As a result, Oil companies and additives companies are turning increasingly to Asia, especially China, for new markets. Improved product development of lubricating oils and additives, as well as modern base lube processing technologies are discussed.更多还原
