【Abstract】 On the basis of reviewing graphical methods for analyzing metamorphic reactions and metamorphic mineral assemblages, this paper discusses algebraic methods for deciphering equilibrium metamorphic reactions between assemblages as well as within one assemblage in metamorphic rocks.
