蓼种子休眠及解眠的方法

【摘要】 以新采收的蓼种子为试材,研究其休眠的主要原因和破除休眠的方法,结果表明.种壳是造成蓼种子休眠的主要物理因素;用GA3或KNO3处理新采收的种子,在变温条件下发芽,发芽率可由常规方法的40%左右,提高到80%以上,其中以KNO3处理的效果最佳,种子发芽后,苗壮,成苗率高.这种方法快速、简便、准确,可广泛应用于生产和种子的发芽研究。

【Abstract】 For investigating the main cause of dormancy of water pepper(Polygonum hydropiper) seeds and rather systematically researching into some efficient methods for breaking the dormancy, the freshly harvested seeds of water pepper from Japan were used as materials in our germination tests. The results showed that the shell of water pepper sced is the main physical factor of seed dormancy and the germination rate of the seed can be increased strikingly from 40% of the CK to 80% after GA, or KNO3 treatment and under varying-temperature condition. Particularly, the KNO3 treatment is very effective. This method is simple, handy, rapid and reliable, it can be widely tised for seed germination in production and study.
