【Abstract】 The fault network in coal mines is a complex system with a fractal structure. Its complexity can be described by the fractal dimension. The degree of the complexity of the fault network of three mines in Datun and Fengfeng Mine areas was preliminarily evaluated by a fratal dimension index.
