【Abstract】 The polarographic behavior of the azo compound formed by the reaction of phenol and diazonium salt of p-aniline sulfonic acid in alkaline medium was studied and a polarographic method for the determination of traces of phenol is established, Alinear range between 8 to 800ng ?mL-1 of phenol holds for the determination. The proposed method has been applied to the determination of traces of phenol in waste water with satisfactory results.更多还原
