磁共振成像与发射计算体层摄影诊断脊椎转移瘤的比较分析
Comparison of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Emission Computed Tomography in Detecting Spinal Metastases
【摘要】 目的:比较分析磁共振成像与发射计算体层摄影诊断脊椎转移瘤。材料与方法:15例脊椎转移瘤原发灶经病理证实。所选病例均MR检查在先。所用仪器为GE公司1.5TSigna成像仪及GE公司发射计算体层摄影仪。统计学分析采用配对计数资料的χ2检验。结果:磁共振成像比发射计算体层摄影敏感(P<0.005)。后者价廉,有效,能一次观察全身骨骼系统,仍是骨转移首选检查方法;磁共振成像虽然敏感性高,但检查费用昂贵,检查部位局限。结论:当患者有原发肿瘤伴后背痛,发射计算体层摄影阴性,或发射计算体层摄影难以鉴别病变性质时,磁共振成像可作为一种辅助方法以提高诊断正确性
【Abstract】 Objective: Comparison of MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and ECT (Emission Computed Tomography) in detecting spinal metastases.Materials and Methods: 15 patients with primary tumor were verified by pathology. MRI examination was prior to ECT. GE 1.5T Signa MRI machine and GE ECT machine were used. χ 2 test of the pair and count was calculated.Results: MRI was more sensitive than ECT (P<0.005). Considering its cheapness, availablity and the ease of performing a wholebody survey for metastases, ECT remains the first choice for patients with cancer. Although MRI has high sensitivity, its evaluating skeletal metastases was limited by its expense and lesser regional purview.Conclusion: MRI is an excellent complementary technique when ECT is negative for cancer patients with back pain, and when ECT is difficult in differentiating lesions.
