【Abstract】 Based on the study of the shallow-rich ore body inthe copper-nickel sulphide deposit in Xiangshan, the paper discusses the geological conditions and main features of its formation. The characteristics of the composition and the fabric of the ore, the occurence of the ore-forming elements and the features and significance of the isotope composition. The achievements of study providied scientific basis for comparison and prospecting the shallow-rich ore body in the entire copper-nickel ore-forming zone.
